With this report, you will be able to view what is called open interest. This tells you how many longs and shorts there are.
What value does this have to any one trading? Let alone those trading a funded forex account?
Think of it like this, let’s say in your funded forex account, you have, for example, EURUSD. With that in mind, consider that these are long and short contracts which are not been executed yet.
What this tells you is where companies stand with EURUSD, namely institutions — companies big enough to trade futures/options. This does not consider the hidden market, of course. These contracts are not executed yet and consider these are Futures Contracts and Options Contracts.
Assume futures markets are like your normal contracts, options are a little different. As I mentioned, the market acts as a magnet towards big levels (they are relative, and it is obvious when you see the numbers yourself) near the options’ expiry date.
