Some sort of ritualistic pattern that helps. Even that weird chest-pounding if it helps you. I say weird because even Jordan Belford – the man himself – thought it was weird. Calibrate this to your learning style. If you’re more visual, utilise more image based positive activity such as focusing on something to clear your mind, or imaging something relaxing. Positive self-talk if you’re auditory and so on.
